Fort Zumwalt School District is hosting a Back To School Bash from 12 - 3 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, to connect families with resources so your students are ready for school to start on August 25.

First Day of School - Tuesday, August 25, 2026
Enrollment Update
The annual Enrollment Update will be available to all parents/guardians through the FZSD Family Portal. Please log-in and complete this required process. Completion of the entire Enrollment Update is required in order for your student to have access to any district technology starting on the first day of school. Students with an incomplete Enrollment Update will not have access to their Chromebooks or any other district technology until the Enrollment Update is completed.
New this year, all families are required to upload TWO (2) current Proof of Residency documents within the online form. Beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, this will be required in each Enrollment Update going forward. You may upload a PDF document or a picture of your document. All documents must be dated within 30 days. Required proof of residency documents are:
Document #1 must be one of the following:
Mortgage statement
Current Rental Agreement
For a new home purchase, ALTA Settlement Statement signed by the homeowner and the title company
Document #2 must be one of the following:
Electric bill
Gas bill
Water bill
If your child is enrolled with an Affidavit of Residency, you'll have a link to the new form within the enrollment update, along with the requirements for that form.
If your child was approved for enrollment by the Coordinator of Homeless and Foster Care, you will receive residency instructions later this summer.

Immunizations
Students entering Kindergarten, 8th, and 12th grades will need proof of updated immunizations.

According to state law, students who are not in compliance with immunization requirements will not be allowed to attend school.
You will complete your student’s annual Health Inventory Form as a part of the annual Enrollment Update in the Family Portal. Nurse.
